Lewisham Homes

Letter to Adam Barrett

After an exhausting 6 months chasing Lewisham Homes for a rebate of caretaking and grounds maintenance charges, SyTRA have now drafted an official letter to Adam Barrett, Director of Resources, Lewisham Homes. This is mainly the result of the walk round of the estate undertaken on 15th June 2010, at which many senior heads of Lewisham Homes were present:

Below is the latest we have from Lewisham Homes on the issue:

Date: Friday, 9 July, 2010, 17:07

Dear SyTRA,
Apologies for the delay in contacting you. I have tried the mobile number I have for you but it keeps saying that it is temporarily unavailable and I have not been able to leave a message. Apologies as well that I have not sent you a response following our meeting. Adam Barratt is completing this and I will confirm on Monday when it will be sent to you.

I have seen a few emails from Alex Slattery to members of the TRA and see that he is dealing with some issues for you but please let me know if you have any new concerns.
I will try and call you again on Monday but in the meantime have a good weekend.
Kind regards

Nick Spenceley

Lewisham Homes have been looking after the estate since January 2009. They took over from Dunlop Haywards before them, who in turn took over from Pinnacle PSG before that.

As you will gather from this website/blog, the estate has been neglected for many years, but over the last few years the standard of service provided by Lewisham Homes has been very poor indeed.
It's only now, with the Tenants and Residents Association (SyTRA) working tirelessley on your behalf, that we have managed to get Lewisham Homes to deliver the services we pay for.

To give you an idea of the charges we all incur, please see the break down sent to a resident for 2010/11 below:
